Of The CHCSB
Membership is open, and all committed to the CHCSB’s aims and objectives are welcome to join.
Holds the RAU Level 4 in Bovine lameness and professional cattle foot trimming, NPTC Level 3 in Cattle foot trimming or Dutch Diploma and undergo an on-farm spot-audit every 18 months
Holds the RAU Level 4 in Bovine lameness and professional cattle foot trimming, NPTC Level 3 in Cattle foot trimming or Dutch Diploma and attending an annual assessment day. A member can only spend a maximum of 2 years in this category before either moving to Fully Audited Member, outside of this timeframe the member would require retraining or a period of mentorship if they have not reached the standard required to proceed to Fully Audited.
Has attended an approved training course and working towards qualification. Attends an annual assessment day.
A member can only spend a maximum of 3 years in this category before they either are required to undergo retraining or they are removed from the member list.
Industry stake holder sharing the CHCSB’s aims and objectives but not commercially providing hoof trimming services or training. Affiliate members are exempt from inspection/assessment but welcome to attend CPD events.

How to join
NB for Fully Audited and Probationary: Qualified Membership, proof of qualification is required in the form of either a scanned or photographic copy of your qualification certificate. For Probationary: Unqualified, a scan or photo of the Certificate of Attendance from an approved training course is required.
Spot-audits are only undertaken on Fully Audited Members. For more information on the audit process
